„We met Petr (who is actually a Biologist studying truffles) On a cold wet morning . What I initially thought as a bummer for the wet weather turned out to be one of the best experience I have in Prague as it’s totally unexpected and totally wonderful !

We were greeted by the fresh scent of morning dew and a very happy and gorgeous Weimaraner , Nela the main star for our truffle hunt. Here we learnt how Nela was trained to hunt for truffles through Positive Reinforcements , how a high nose and low nose works and I can’t recount again how delightful it is to see Nela and Petr work their magic to unearth the truffles !

The view on the hill where we were hunting through this autumn foliage is breathtaking.

We had a very successful hunt and adjourned to a sumptuous truffle lunch . Thank you so much Petr for showing us around and for the truffle gifts and Nela , we will miss you .“
